About DealRadar
Shortlists public GitHub repos worth a look for buyers of small software assets
DealRadar helps buyers of small software assets find GitHub repositories worth a closer look. It scores public GitHub signals on eight transparent factors and returns a ranked shortlist. It doesn't predict whether anything is for sale. It tells you where to look first. What's here: a finished, production-tested app with a frontend, an API and two test suites. On a labelled set of 70 repositories, precision at 5 is 80% and precision at 10 is 60%. The 60% misses my own 70% target, and I'm publishing it anyway. Both numbers reproduce with one command. Also built in: Google and GitHub sign-in, operator MFA, a human review gate, HTML and PDF research reports, CI with browser tests, and a Stripe integration with live billing switched off, ready for your own account. What's not here: users or revenue. This is an engineering asset for someone who wants to skip the build and go straight to selling. The UI is plain on purpose, so you can brand it your way. Running costs: about $4 a month. Scoring is deterministic, with no AI costs. For commercial use you'd move the frontend to Vercel Pro ($20/user/month). Tech stack: Python (FastAPI, Pydantic), TypeScript with Next.js 16 and React 19, Tailwind CSS, SQLite, GitHub REST API, Google/GitHub OAuth, PyOTP, WeasyPrint, Stripe (billing off), Vercel, Oracle Cloud, GitHub Actions, Pytest, Playwright. Included: full source repo with tests, the dealradar.my domain (prepaid to Aug 2027) and mailbox, the Vercel project, the 70-repo calibration dataset, the data room, and 10 hours of support over 30 days. Not included: the production database (you start from clean migrations plus demo data), the backend server and OAuth apps (you redeploy and recreate them; setup docs included), and the seller's other infrastructure. Why I'm selling: the engineering is done and my time is going to a product in another industry. DealRadar needs an owner who will market it and switch on billing. Transfer: Escrow.com under a written asset purchase agreement. All secrets are rotated, and the seller keeps no access afterwards. Walkthrough video (5 min): https://youtu.be/4gFqktcTN6c Live demo, no account needed: https://dealradar.my/demo Proof page with test results: https://dealradar.my/proof Data room on request, after NDA.

The engineering is done and my time is going to a product in another industry. DealRadar needs an owner who will market it and switch on billing, rather than letting it sit.
