About Construction AI - Voice to Change Order
Turns a contractor's on-site voice note into a client-ready change order.
A mobile web app that turns a renovation contractor's on-site voice note into a client-ready change order. How it works: The contractor records a voice note on site (tested in English; built for Mandarin, Malay and Manglish construction terms). AI fills in the title, location, cost and who instructed the change, flags every field "please check", and compares the request with the project's original scope. After the contractor confirms, it generates a PDF change order and a short client confirmation message (copy or open in WhatsApp). What's included: Full source code (Next.js, Supabase, OpenAI), private GitHub repo transferred to you 186 automated tests Malaysian construction glossary (Mandarin / Malay / Manglish to English) with normalisation rules Live deployment on Vercel, an 80-second demo video, Facebook page and marketing images Handover call and setup help Honest notes: Pre-revenue, no users. The founder is a student based abroad and can't run sales in Malaysia. Runs on free tiers (Vercel Hobby, Supabase Free). Supabase free projects pause when idle, so a buyer should move to their own paid plan. No custom domain yet.
Next step: <p>The product works end-to-end; what it needs is distribution. Ideas: (1) bundle it into an existing contractor / renovation platform as an add-on feature; (2) run a paid pilot with 5-10 Malaysian renovation contractors via WhatsApp and contractor Facebook groups; (3) add subscription billing; (4) extend the glossary to Singapore or Indonesia.</p>
