About Corner Bar
Virtual bar web app: talk to an AI bartender or join live language tables
The idea: a social network built around a bar, not a feed Social media gave us more contacts and fewer conversations. In 2025 the WHO reported that 1 in 6 people worldwide are affected by loneliness. Corner Bar goes back to one of the oldest ways strangers have become friends: walking into a bar where a good bartender knows how to start a conversation. Here that bartender is Teo, an AI who greets every guest in their own language, pours them a drink and gets them talking. When they're ready, Teo seats them at a small live table with people who share a language. There's no feed to scroll and no follower count to chase. You just go in, have a conversation, and leave when you like. The product is built, deployed and tested. What it needs now is an owner with the time and budget to launch it. With that, it can grow from one bar into a network of them: rooms by city, language, interest or community, private bars for universities and companies, and a paid tier for members who want more of Teo. It's a new kind of social network, with an AI host to break the ice and real people at the tables. What it is Corner Bar is a virtual bar for conversation, aimed at the growing loneliness and "third place" market. People walk in, pick a nickname and their languages, and either: sit at the bar and talk with Teo, an AI bartender (Claude) who chats about anything in the guest's own language, including less common ones like Georgian, and pours virtual drinks from a full menu; join a table: small live group chats (up to 6) matched by shared language, where Teo joins only when called and every guest can choose "people only"; go one-to-one: invite someone to a private table or send them a virtual drink. Next step:
Launch it: register the brand and a domain, finish the legal review, and turn on the planned membership and coins. Then grow it from one bar into a network of them: rooms by city, language, interest or community, and private branded bars for universities, companies and communities. The language-matching tables make it a natural fit for expat, student and language-exchange communities.
