About Email validator
Email validator is a web-based email checking software that verifies correct emails.
An email validator checks the email address format and the domain validity in under four seconds to ensure proper mailing list hygiene. 1. Syntax And Format Evaluation The validator employs email-formatting requirements to check the format of each address on the list. The software also checks the email against providers’ formatting standards. For example, some email providers don’t allow email addresses that start with a number. The validator checks for invalid characters and missing or misplaced @ symbol. 2. Domain Check Software checks the available DNS records to make sure that the domain is valid and active. The program tests the mail exchanger to make sure the email can be received. 3. Mailbox Verification The validator uses the SMTP protocol to connect to the mail server and check out if the mailbox can receive emails. The program does it without sending an actual message. Important: Not all email servers allow the validators to perform their checks. Accordingly, the accuracy of the verification can be compromised. However, at least a 90 percent accuracy is expected.
