About A'lure
A’lure is a working women-only salon booking app.
A’lure is a mobile salon and beauty booking app built for women who care about who’s doing their hair and where — female-only stylists, private rooms, halal-certified products — filters that don’t exist on any mainstream booking platform today. It’s a fully working product: phone/OTP sign-in, salon discovery with comfort-based filtering, detailed salon pages with services and stylist profiles, a complete multi-step booking flow, booking management, and profile tools including photo upload and account deletion — all running against a real backend (Postgres, a TypeScript API, proper auth), not a mockup. Built for the Malaysian market first, with Bangsar and Mont Kiara-style salons as the launch set, and architected to extend to other markets with the same unmet need. What’s left to reach full production spec is scoped and small: a self-service salon-owner console, payment processing, and a short list of UI screens for already-built backend features.
