About Furnishr
Furnishr is a localized marketplace for renting or buying used furniture.
Key Highlights Finished peer-to-peer marketplace for renting or buying used furniture from verified people. Localised to Bangalore for now. The product is already built to open other cities, with Chennai and Hyderabad next. Sellers can verify with PAN if they want. It is optional. A verified seller gets a badge and better visibility. A listing can go live without it. Phone number and exact address stay hidden until the seller approves a request. Revenue is membership, not a cut of the furniture deal. Renter plans are ₹99, ₹199, and ₹299 a month. Seller plans are ₹99, ₹249, and ₹499 a month. Search, maps, saved listings, requests, handover, reviews, reports, and admin moderation are already in the product. A new owner’s upside is the launch: turn on payments, get the first Bangalore listings, then open the next city. The build is the part already done. Operations Furnishr connects people who want to rent or buy used furniture with people who are moving, upgrading, or letting spare furniture. Users browse for free. A renter spends a contact from their plan to send a request. A seller pays for how many listings can stay active. Once the seller approves, the two of them arrange payment, pickup, and return. Furnishr does not hold the furniture, the deposit, or the payment, and it does not deliver. Money comes from monthly renter and seller memberships. Cashfree is built in and not live yet, so nobody can buy a paid plan today. Keeping the site online takes about 1 to 2 hours a week. Hosting, database, Redis, and photo storage are on free tiers. Launching it is the real work: switch on payments, sign up sellers in Bangalore, and answer the first users. Plan on that being the new owner’s main focus, not a couple of hours a week. Customers There are no customers yet. The site has not launched, so there is no list, no repeat use, and no acquisition channel to hand over. The intended customers are in India, starting with Bangalore. Renters are young professionals and people new to the city who need furniture for months. Buyers want used furniture without an OLX-style chat. Sellers are people moving, upgrading, or looking for rental income from spare furniture. The first customers would be domestic. Other cities are a later step, not a current audience. Financials Revenue is $0 and profit is $0. There is no growth, decline, or seasonality to explain, because no membership has been sold. Monthly running cost is $0 on the free tiers. The domain, furnishr.in, is about $7 for the current year. Login texts are about $0.003 each and a PAN check is about $0.05, and both are $0 until real people use them. Additional Notes This is a pre-launch sale. You receive the domain furnishr.in, the website, and the custom code. You do not receive a phone number, a personal email account, customers, stock, or a trademark. A legal entity and GST are not set up yet. The new owner would need those before charging users in India. I will answer questions about handover and how the product runs for 14 days after the sale. I will not build new features in that period.

Next step:
The product is built. The buyer’s work is the launch. Turn Cashfree on, set up a legal entity and GST, and start selling memberships. Then get real listings and requests in Bangalore, with people who are moving into or out of flats. After Bangalore is working, open Chennai and Hyderabad. The city setup for that is already in the product. Furnishr stays a place where people meet and arrange pickup themselves. It does not deliver furniture or hold the rent, the sale payment, or the deposit.
