About STLFixer
Check and repair STL files locally in your browser.
I use a Bambu Lab A1 mini, and I usually start with models downloaded from model sites. I've tried Bambu Studio and Ultimaker Cura. That workflow made me want a simple place to inspect an STL and try small mesh repairs before heading back to the slicer. So I built STLFixer. It runs in the browser, accepts ASCII and binary STL files up to 50 MB, and keeps the model on your device. You can inspect the mesh in 3D, run supported repairs, compare what changed, and download the result. It's free and doesn't require an account. The repair scope is deliberately limited. It can clean up exact duplicate or degenerate faces and handle supported orientation issues and a few small, local repairs. Large holes and heavily damaged meshes need another workflow. It can't judge wall thickness or guarantee printability. The downloaded file still needs a check in your slicer before printing. I'm sharing it as a working side project and would welcome feedback from people who print.
