Markdown Viewer turns Markdown files into a focused browser workspace in Chrome and Edge. Open local or web documents and keep files, outlines, notes, search, diagrams, appearance, and export tools together. Browse a selected folder from the sidebar, bookmark folders, reopen recent documents, auto-refresh edited files, and search across documents. Navigate a searchable H1–H6 outline, highlight text, underline passages, add comments, and resume your reading position. Render Mermaid and Graphviz diagrams, KaTeX math, and interactive Vega-Lite charts. Turn headings into a mind map, open diagrams full screen, and export supported diagram formats. Customize light/dark modes, fonts, layout, themes and backgrounds. Export self-contained HTML, Word documents, clean print/PDF, or presentation slides. Version 1.0.1 is available in 15 interface languages. Core features are free and no extension account is required.
