Brightspace-connected desktop workspace for course files, notes, and deadlines.
cmdFyourbrightspace is an Electron and React desktop study workspace for students using Brightspace. It brings course files, PDF reading, manual notebooks, tasks, schedules, and calendars into one local app. Downloaded material and local study tools work offline; connecting to Brightspace and syncing require internet and an authenticated session. The bundled Brightspace Sync browser extension pairs with the desktop app and imports selected courses, files, assignments, announcements, and calendar events. The project also includes a separate Ripper exporter extension, marketing-site source, license Worker source, tests, development documentation, and synthetic demo fixtures. Final transfer scope and ownership of included assets will be confirmed before purchase. Domain and hosted accounts are discussed separately. Personal course files, credentials, and login sessions are excluded. This is a desktop beta. Brightspace login and downloads previously worked for the owner, but after graduation, live verification is unavailable, and compatibility across schools needs testing. macOS signing/notarization and commercial setup remain work for the next owner. Desktop license enforcement is not implemented; Ripper requires a configured license service. Updates are manual, and local backups are not encrypted. AI note generation and dedicated Obsidian integration are not part of the current app. A fit for a developer or student product team that wants an existing desktop foundation to build on. Next step: <p>Validate the app with students at additional Brightspace schools; complete Mac signing/notarization and Windows installer verification; implement commercial licensing and checkout; or integrate the desktop workspace, PDF reader, notebooks, and sync code into an existing student productivity product. These are potential next steps, not current capabilities or revenue projections.</p>

Reason for selling
We built this app around our own student workflow. We have now graduated and want to focus on other projects, so we are looking for a new owner who can take the existing software forward.
