Tamper-evident workplace record vault + AI tools for PIPs, raises & disputes
OOFmode is a production-deployed SaaS that helps employees keep a secure, verifiable record of what actually happened at work, and turns that record into action. CORE PRODUCT Paper Trail Vault: entries are AES-256-GCM encrypted with per-user HKDF-derived keys and linked in a per-user SHA-256 hash chain, so backdating, editing or removing a record is detectable and locatable. All writes go through service-role-only SQL functions; there are no browser writes. Confirm in Writing: turns a verbal promise into a dated written follow-up and tracks whether the other side replied. PIP Mode: breaks a pasted performance improvement plan into goals, assesses which can be objectively met, tracks progress and drafts clarification, progress and rebuttal emails. Wins Log and Promotion Case: builds a raise or promotion case from logged wins, citing the vault entries behind each claim. Numbers are validated server-side so none are invented. Export and Integrity Certificate: chronological PDF plus machine-readable JSON, with a public verification page. Chrome extension (Manifest V3): Gmail analysis, Reply, Save to Vault and Confirm in Writing, plus Google Calendar integration. ALSO INCLUDED 16 AI tools in total (email analysis, reply drafting, resignation letters, meeting tools, and more), a personality engine and survival analytics, daily streaks, and a community feed. TECH AND SECURITY Next.js 14 (App Router), TypeScript, Supabase (PostgreSQL, Auth, Row-Level Security), Groq inference with an NVIDIA fallback, PayPal subscriptions. Server-side tier gating, atomic rate limiting, verified PayPal webhooks with an append-only audit table, prompt-injection defences, and automated tests for the vault. About 55,000 lines of code. BUSINESS MODEL Freemium with a $10/month paid plan. Subscription billing, referral/influencer commission tracking and an admin view are already built. STATUS Live at oofmode.com since September 2026.
