Law firms, medical practices and accountants handle the most sensitive data there is, but most of them still share it over email, WhatsApp and generic cloud drives. Shield Desk is a zero-knowledge workspace built for them: everything is encrypted on the user’s device before it leaves, so the server never sees the content. What’s built and live: Encrypted file storage with multipart upload and blinded search Real-time encrypted messaging and an activity feed Chambers: end-to-end encrypted video and audio rooms with screen share and recording that keeps a signed chain of custody (useful for depositions and client meetings) Encrypted cross-firm collaboration between partner firms, with identity verification Team and guest management, an append-only audit log, and Stripe billing with per-seat pricing already built in Stack: Next.js on Vercel, Neon Postgres, Cloudflare R2, LiveKit, Stripe. The shielddesk.app domain is included. It’s pre-revenue with no customers yet, and the independent security audit hasn’t been done. Reason for selling

Honestly, it comes down to funding. The product is built and working, but I don’t have the capital or the connections to raise investment and take it to market. It’s a hard one to let go of because I know how much potential it has, but it needs an owner who can back it properly.
